P.E.I. ARK
Little Pond, Prince Edwards Island, Canada

Architect: John Todd

This solar building is a "living machine." It serves as a home, greenhouse, and fish farm all at the same time. The innovative design combines living and working spaces in a closed-loop year-round biological system. The produce grown inside supplies family food and income.
