Students at this college learn in a "living laboratory." The environmental studies building includes an organic water purifying system, a solar cell roof, and passive solar heating. The desks are made from trees that are harvested responsibly, making sure there will always be more where those came from. The design is a living textbook of environmental responsibility. |
